AdForge One: an ad operating system, not an ad generator.
Give it your company, product, website, and objective. The system is designed to build, launch, measure, improve, and scale the advertising, and to learn from every dollar. This is the flagship JDG Labs concept, presented with its honest status.
Concept
The Problem
Small businesses buy advertising the way people buy lottery tickets. A tool or an agency makes “an ad,” the budget gets spent, and nobody can say which dollar produced a customer. AI has made this worse, not better: most AI ad products are a prompt, some copy, and an image. The result is more ads and the same guessing.
What I Noticed
The advertising playbooks that actually work are systems, not creatives: offer engineering, structured single-variable testing, retargeting journeys, and revenue tracking. So the product should not be the ad. The product should be the operating system that runs advertising the way a disciplined agency would, without the agency.
The Opportunity
An autonomous platform that understands a business’s actual economics, engineers the offer before any creative exists, generates hundreds of strategically different ads, builds matching landing pages, runs controlled experiments, attributes revenue to the gross-profit level, and feeds every outcome into the next generation of campaigns. Every campaign makes the system smarter.
What I Designed
A closed-loop architecture of twelve cooperating engines, detailed below, governed by one north star: profitable customer acquisition. The platform optimizes revenue, gross profit, qualified customers, CAC, and ROAS. Never likes, impressions, or pretty creatives.
Current Status
Concept, in active design at JDG Labs. The architecture is specified end to end; nothing is live and no performance numbers exist yet. The interface preview on this page shows sample data and says so. If you want to shape the pilot or be first in line when it opens, say so.
Optimized for money, never for vanity.
When downstream revenue data exists, the system is forbidden from optimizing anything shallower.
Prompt → copy → image
Hundreds of lookalike ads, no hypothesis, no learning, and a report full of impressions. The tool never finds out whether anyone became a customer.
Business → economics → customer → strategy → offer → creative → campaign → conversion → revenue → learning
A closed loop. The system knows what a customer is worth, learns which combination produces profitable ones, and turns that discovery into the next campaign automatically.
Every campaign makes the system smarter.
This is the intellectual core. Business knowledge becomes offers, offers become creative hypotheses, hypotheses become campaigns, campaigns become revenue data, and revenue data becomes the next generation of advertising. The loop never stops turning.
Twelve engines. One brain.
Each engine is specified with inputs, outputs, guardrails, and an audit trail.
Know the business first
A persistent profile: products, pricing, margins, customer value, locations, proof, and brand rules. The system stops guessing because it knows what a customer is actually worth.
Fix the offer before the ad
Scores offer strength from 0 to 100 across clarity, urgency, proof, risk reversal, and friction, then proposes stronger offers. A weak offer never gets an ad budget thrown at it.
Clusters, not a persona
Multiple customer clusters, each with identity, need, psychology, intent stage, and buying trigger. Sensitive attributes are never inferred or targeted, by design.
Structured variation at scale
Every ad is a combination: audience, angle, hook, proof, offer, format, CTA, style, destination. One request yields hundreds of strategically different creatives, including UGC, founder, and editorial modes that do not look AI-made.
One master, every placement
A versioned placement-spec database transforms each master creative into every required ratio, duration, safe zone, and copy limit. Specs update as platforms change; nothing is hard-coded.
Channels chosen by intent
Search captures demand, social generates it, video educates, display retargets. Budget allocation derives from the business’s actual economics, never a universal formula.
One variable at a time
Every ad carries a hypothesis. Explore, validate, exploit, mutate. Winners earn spend, and nothing is declared a winner on a temporary spike.
Darwinian creative
Winning traits breed the next generation. Fatigue radar watches CTR, CPC, frequency, and conversion decay, then rotates creative while preserving the winning offer and audience.
The message keeps its promise
Every campaign gets a matching page: same headline, proof, frictionless form. Conversion tracking must verify before any campaign can call itself launch-ready.
Ad to gross profit
Ad to lead to appointment to sale to revenue to gross profit. Leads are quality-scored and CRM outcomes feed back, so the optimizer chases qualified customer acquisition cost, not cheap leads.
Trustworthy by construction
Brand memory enforces a consistency score. Fabricated testimonials, deceptive claims, and prohibited targeting are blocked outright, with an audit trail on every decision.
Power with guardrails
Six autonomy levels, from recommendations-only to full operation. Every automated dollar obeys spending ceilings, approval thresholds, and rollback. Agency mode isolates every client.
Decisions, not dashboards.
The interface is designed to feel closer to a trading platform than a marketing dashboard. Every screen answers at least one of three questions: what is happening, why is it happening, and what should I do next. The AI strategist explains every conclusion from observed account data, never from vibes.
