In Development
The Problem
Insurance agencies know realtor relationships produce steady referral business, but outreach is ad hoc, compliance rules around communication are easy to get wrong, and nobody tracks which relationships actually produce. The consequence: the most valuable growth channel an agency has runs on whoever remembered to make a call this week.
What I Noticed
Working inside insurance sales, I watched referral development get treated as a personality trait instead of a process. The conventional “do more outreach” advice misses the real constraint: agencies under-invest in referral relationships because they’re afraid of getting compliance wrong, so the safest move becomes doing nothing.
The Opportunity
If compliance were enforced by the system itself instead of by discipline, agencies could pursue referral partnerships confidently. Success looks like: every touch logged, every message compliance-checked before it can send, and partnership value visible in a pipeline instead of a gut feeling.
What I Designed
A relationship-development system where the compliance gate lives at the database level: non-compliant sends are blocked, not just discouraged. Long-term nurture cadences instead of spam mechanics, outreach templates with mandatory review states, and referral attribution so each partnership’s value is measurable.
What I Built
Current Status
In active development. Outbound sending ships disabled until compliance review is complete. That’s a feature, not a delay. Pilot conversations with agencies are open.
